Super Setanta win Ulster title

Setanta 1-22 Shane O’Neill’s 0-15

Super Setanta were crowned Ulster Club Junior Hurling champions when they defeated Shane O’Neill’s at Celtic Park today.

Shane O’Neill’s played with the breeze in the first half and led by 0-10 to 0-8 at half-time.

Setanta got level by the 36th minute after points from Davin Flynn and Oisin Marley.

The Antrim side pushed two ahead again but Setanta started to take over with Declan Coulter and Flynn to the fore.

Setanta scored the only goal of the game in the 57th minute when Davin Flynn fired a brilliant shot into the net.

Gary McGettigan’s men closed out in style to win the provincial crown.
