In a week where Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce’s wonderful Shop LK campaign hit the €9m mark, there is a real festive feel around town today as locals and visitors hit the shops to pick up those last minute presents and some late Christmas shopping.
In Letterkenny, the shops were busy from early and there were long queues outside some local outlets as Christmas orders were picked up.

Thankfully, for the most part, there are no reports of any traffic issues in Letterkenny this morning.
So if you have any last minute gifts to pick up, you should be able to get around town this morning without any great fuss.
A special mention to all the staff in the various shops, local businesses and outlets who are working away today on another busy day.
