GERARD Gilmore believes the 2023 club season will give a boost to the confidence in the Donegal hurling panel ahead of the Division 2B League campaign which begins this weekend.
Donegal club hurling had a great year in 2023, with Gilmore’s Setanta winning the Ulster Intermediate title being the highlight.
St Eunan’s also made the Ulster Junior final, while Carndonagh took a first ever Donegal Intermediate title.
Burt Under 21s claimed the U21A Championship in November, with a number of those players represented in the Donegal squad and Conor Gartland captaining the side.
