Substantial damage caused to rowing boat

GARDAÍ are appealing for information after substantial damage was caused to a rowing boat in Dunfanaghy.

The rowing boat was tipped over at Purt Lake causing substantial damage sometime between Thursday, February 20 and Thursday, March 6.

A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles (diggers etc.) in the area of the lake during that time period, to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on (074) 9153060.”
