Strong winds due tomorrow as weather warning is issued

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for wind for Donegal which will be in place from early tomorrow morning until the evening.

The weather warning has been issued for the whole country and the forecaster said northern coastal areas are expected to experience the strongest winds.

The warning will be in place from 5am tomorrow morning until 5pm tomorrow evening.

Met Éireann said: “Very windy across Ireland from early on Wednesday morning until evening. South to southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 65 km/hr with gusts of 90 to 110 km/hr, strongest in southern, western and northern coastal areas.”
