Strong start to Division 2 for Termon

Termon began their Division 2 campaign with an impressive victory over Gaeil Fhánada in Páirc Uí Shiadhail on Saturday evening.

The Burn Road men were 0-7 to 0-2 ahead at the break, with Daire McDaid hitting 0-3 of that but would have been wondering how they weren’t further ahead with six wides and a couple of missed goal attempts.

But a bit of a fortunate goal from Enda McCormack had them on their way and they increased their lead as Fanad lost Patrick Heraghty and Callum McAteer to black cards as Termon took a convincing win.
