Red Hughs 2-11 Milford 1-18
Milford claimed their second win of the Intermediate Championship with an excellent triumph away to Red Hughs on Sunday.
James McGinley’s Milford got off to a fine start and led by 1-5 to no score after ten minutes with Rory O’Donnell notching the goal.
They continued to dominate the first half and were 1-11 to 0-4 ahead at the break.
Red Hughs, who were without county panellist Stephen McMenamin, did rally in the second half with Calvin Bradley registering two quickfire goals.
However, McGinley’s charges were able to see out the game and move onto four points in the table.
Milford will face Cloughaneely in Round 4, while Red Hughs will be away to Na Rossa.
