Strong second half from Glenswilly to overcome Malin

Glenswilly 0-19 Malin 1-7

Glenswilly put in an impressive second half performance as they defeated Malin by nine points in Páirc Naomh Columba on Sunday.

The hosts were the better side throughout but a Ryan Diver black card in the first half gave Malin a way in and Sean Byrne’s goal before the break meant the Inishowen men were only 0-7 to 1-3 down at the break.

But with Gary McFadden in fine form for Glenswilly, they outscored their opponents by 0-12 to 0-4 in the second half, McFadden ending with six points from play.
