Strong displays from McFadden and Greene in Portugal

Amy Greene and Caolan McFadden were in action this morning, representing Ireland at the European Cross Country Championships in Portugal.

Finn Valley AC athlete Greene finished 20th overall in the Women’s Under 23 race, helping Ireland to finish seventh place overall in the event.

In the Under 20 Men’s Race, McFadden crossed the line in 26th place overall, with the team finishing fifth overall in Portugal.

This comes just a week after the Cranford AC athlete sealed first place in the Under 19 National Cross Country Championships.
