ROAD users are being urged to take care as Storm Debi has brought flooding to parts of the county this morning.
Cllr Donal Mandy Kelly alerted Donegal County Council’s Roads team about standing water on roads in the Newmills, Rockhill, Glenkeo and other areas such as Old Town, Letterkenny.
“The men are out trying to do their best for all road users so in the meantime please drive with care until storm Debi passes,” he urged.
A yellow wind warning remains in place until 3pm today with heavy rain also expected.
Motorists are being warned of hazardous travelling conditions with the possibility of fallen trees and branches as well as localised flooding including wave overtopping.
