Storm Callum set to hit Donegal

Donegal could be in for a battering as Storm Callum is forecast to move in over the coming 48 hours.

DONEGAL County Council has issued a weather warning for tomorrow night and into Friday morning.

Forecasters say Storm Callum will bring strong gales to several counties over the next 48 hours.

Via it’s Map Alerter service, the Council said, “Strong winds associated with Storm Callum, coinciding with high spring tides will affect Ireland on Thursday night and Friday morning.

“Winds will be strongest overnight and early on Friday, gusting between 110 and 130 km/h at coasts.”
