THERE was excitement in Dungloe on Tuesday as Stor the Troll made his way to his new home.
Stor the Troll arrived safe and sound in Dungloe and has settled in to his new forever home at Trì Na Draíocht ( The land of Magic) on The Dungloe Riverwalk.
Stor left Newry on Tuesday morning and was escorted on his journey by Police and Gardai before arriving into Dungle and was greeted with a warm welcome by hundreds of locals.
Stor is one of the the main pieces to feature in ‘Trí na Draíochta’, a new children’s art and story trail at the Riverwalk in Dungloe.
The magical enchanted story walk is based on the adventures of Stor, a Norwegian Troll who travelled to Ireland in search of a mythical island but he got a bit lost and instead went to Dungloe.
