A Status Yellow wind warning has come into effect for Donegal from 2pm this afternoon.
Met Éireann is warning of very windy conditions, with strong and gusty south to south-west winds and gales or strong gales near coastal areas.
Potential impacts include wave overtopping, displaced loose objects, fallen trees and branches and difficult travelling conditions.

The warning will remain in place until 10pm tonight, Sunday.
