IF you are heading off to Electric Picnic tomorrow you will want to pack an umbrella. And a poncho. And a couple of changes of clothes.
Met Eireann has just issued a status yellow rainfall warning for ten counties including Donegal. The warning comes into effect tomorrow morning at 6am and will remain valid for 24 hours.
It will effect all of Connacht, as well as Donegal, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
Here is exactly what Met Eireann is forecasting for the weekend: Rain will turn heavy and persistent on Friday and Friday night bringing the risk of localised flooding. Rainfall totals of 30-50mm are expected during the period, higher in mountainous areas.
Batten down the hatches.
