St Naul’s and Glenfin will contest the final spot up for grabs in the IFC decider when they clash in Ardara on Sunday.
The Mountcharles men were made fight all the way by Naomh Muire last time out and it eventually took extra-time to decide matters. Glenfin had it much easier than expected against a disappointing Naomh Brid. It’s an intriguing encounter and one that is difficult to forecast.
Peadar Mogan admits that it took an almighty effort to see off the Banks men in that last eight clash. But he hopes the battling qualities displayed there will give Naul’s the edge if things do go to the wire once again in Pearse Park.
“Glenfin are very much in form,” he told the Donegal News. “They’ve done quite well in recent weeks. They beat us in the league and seemed to go on a serious run of winning games ever since. They showed that again last week against Naomh Brid. Frank McGlynn is so important to them. Stephen Carr, who was also in the Donegal U20 panel, is playing really well for them too. They’ve threats all over the field.”
