St Michael’s sealed their safety in Division 1 for another season with a good win over Naomh Columba at the Bridge today.
Martin McElhinney scored a great goal in the first half and St Michael’s moved 1-3 to 0-0 ahead.

Naomh Columba hit nine wides in the first half but they did score the last two points of the first half.

Carlos O’Reilly bagged a major after the restart and St Michael’s were always in control in the second half.
The result means that St Michael’s are safe in Division 1 while Naomh Columba have been relegated.
Aodh Ruadh were surprisingly beaten by Bundoran and they will have a relegation play-off next week.
