St Mary’s aim to roll into semi-finals

IT’S been a trying season for the St Mary’s, Convoy ladies team but player-manager Ciara Gallagher feels they are on steadier ground now, and are hoping to pull off an away victory in the Intermediate Championship quarter-final against Gaeil Fhánada on Sunday morning.
It has been a strange season for Gallagher, who has had to play much of the season in nets as injury took its toll.
And with the team struggling to keep things going midway through the campaign, she stepped in to take control of matters, and she hopes her team are now back on track.
“It’s been a tough season and we got off to a bad start. We only won one game in the league and Division 1 was difficult for us.
