IT’S been a long wait but St Eunan’s are ready to kick-start their season again this Sunday.
The Letterkenny men have had a good year to date, but ultimately their season will be judged on how they fare in the championship.
They have already beaten Four Masters back in May, but joint-manager Barry Meehan says that result will only be a good one if they see off Dungloe this Sunday.
“This is the weekend that everybody has been waiting for,” said Meehan, who manages the team with Eddie Brennan.
“Most clubs have been on the go for seven or eight months now and have been preparing in different ways for it through the league.
“The whole aim of that is to be ready for the next six to eight weeks.
“We’ll just take it one game at a time and that is Dungloe this weekend, and we’ll do our best over the coming days to get ready for that.”
