St Eunan’s recorded a five-point victory over Termon at O’Donnell Park on Sunday to secure their first Senior Ladies Football Championship title since 2005.
The contest’s first score arrived on the eight minute mark and it was an significant one, with St Eunan’s forward Claire Doherty finding the back of the net.
Termon responded and landed a goal of their own on the 20 minute mark courtesy of Jodie McFadden.
However, the Letterkenny side concluded Act One on the front foot to hold a slender advantage at the interval.

The Burn Road outfit started the second stanza with purpose and three successive scores through Geraldine McLaughlin, Ciara McGarvey and Cayla McFadden saw them take a two-point lead.
But the O’Donnell Park residents hit back with 1-5 without reply to leave themselves in a commanding position.
Alisha Tobin (4) and Aisling Nee kicked the points for their side, while Nee found the back of the net during this period.
Termon tried to find the goals required to get themselves back into the game late on but the hooter soon sounded to secure the title for St Eunan’s.
