St Eunan’s College scoop school of the year prize

STAFF and students at St Eunan’s College are delighted to have been awarded iRevise School of the Year, with a prize worth a quarter of a million euro.

The Well Being Committee under the guidance of Mr Paul Browne produced a video showcasing what the school has to offer. They highlighted the school’s promotion of health, well-being, and sustainability.

One of the many initiatives Mr Browne has organised in his time as the school’s Well Being Officer is ‘One Good School’ in partnership with Jigsaw.

“The students, teachers and parents do online webinars about their mental health, that as a part of what we showcased, that was a big aspect of the wellbeing and health part of it,” he explained.

Before being chosen as the winner of the All-Ireland, the video was shortlisted to the final ten schools in the country. All 940 students will have access to the educational resources on iRevise for a year, at a value of €250,000.

Three students will also get the opportunity to attend an Irish Residential Summer School for modern languages free of charge.
“We are absolutely delighted,” said Mr Browne. He also praised the Well Being Committee for their dedication.

Mr Browne told the Donegal News that he will take the team of students out for dinner to celebrate their win, “with no expense spared”.

The management at St Eunan’s College thanked Mr Browne for his hard work and dedication.
“Huge thanks go to Mr Paul Browne who lead the initiative and to the Wellbeing team for their hard work and dedication to this project.”
