Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter are inviting the public along to celebrate St. Brigid’s Day by creating Brigid’s crosses and taking part in the many special traditions connected to Brigid of Ireland on Tuesday, January 31.
The Cathedral Quarter is welcoming everyone religious, non-religious, young and old to celebrate with them.
This is the first in-person St Brigid Cross making event in three years.
Help will be at hand to guide and show guests how to make the traditional crosses in the lovely setting of Dillons Hotel in the heart of the Cathedral Quarter from 6.30pm-8.30pm.
The event also marks the beginning of Spring and honours old customs.
