Speeding driver arrested near Letterkenny after testing positive for cocaine

A SPEEDING driver was arrested earlier today just outside Letterkenny after testing positive for cocaine.

Gardaí from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit stopped the motorist after detecting a car traveling in excess of the legal speed limit on the dual carriageway.

Following a drug test that detected cocaine, the driver was arrested

A garda spokesperson said: “Never take unnecessary and dangerous risks on the roads.

“Do not drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”
