THE Special Needs Parents Network in Donegal has recently launched a new website to provide information and support to those with a disability and their family members in the county.
Their website www.snpndonegal.com, has information on benefits and entitlements, education and schools and on SNPNs advocacy efforts for better disability services in Donegal.
On the website they also have an ‘Access Donegal’ section which showcases accessible and inclusive experiences, places to visit and stay in the county.
Speaking to the Donegal News this week, Jo Corkery from the Special Needs Parents Network spoke of how this section will be helpful for families both within Donegal and also visiting and holidaying in the county.
“Many families like ours tend to holiday at home, so we would like to showcase how accessible and inclusive our beautiful county is for those with a disability and additional needs,” she said.
If any organisation would like to be featured on the new website they are urged to get in touch via snpndonegal@gmail.com
