HAVE you ever wanted to perform live comedy? Well now IS your chance. Comedians Paul Bonar (aka Gary Gamble) and Barry Mack are providing a seven-week course in FUBAR down stairs in The Orchard Inn, Letterkenny.
The course will cover a range of comedy techniques including improv, sketch devising, character creation and stand-up. But most of all it will be great craic.
The course will be facilitated by two experienced comedy performers.
Paul Bonar (aka Gary Gamble) is a trained drama facilitator with over 20 years’ experience as a performer. As an actor, Paul has performed in theatres and festivals all over Ireland.
As a writer, Paul’s work includes plays, satirical articles, comedy sketches and stand-up material. Paul is also co-founder, writer and performer with the comedy website AyeTV1.
Barry Mack is well-known on the Irish comedy circuit and is a regular in all the top clubs in Dublin including The International and The Ha’penny Bridge Inn.
Barry is a former finalist in a number of comedy competitions and is resident MC at the monthly comedy club, Comedy @ The Greenroom, Letterkenny.
At the end of the course, with the guidance of Paul and Barry, participants will be given an opportunity to showcase their new skills at a live performance in FUBAR.
