SIX young cyclists have been taken to Letterkenny General Hospital following a pile up on the opening day of the third annual Errigal Youth International Tour.
It is understood that the cyclists were taken to Letterkenny General Hospital suffering from injuries ranging from possible broken collar bones to bruising. None of the injuries are thought to be serious.

The event, which takes place in Donegal, is aimed at children under the age of 16 with approximately 200 participants taking part from countries all over the world.

Adverse weather conditions have been blamed for making the course difficult for cyclists to navigate. The three day event will reach and end in Letterkenny on Monday.
