SINN Féin local election candidate, Cllr John Sheamais Ó Fearraigh, is calling for the installation of toilets at the newly developed car park located at the base of Muckish Mountain in Creeslough.
Cllr Ó Fearraigh is highlighting the necessity for restroom facilities, particularly due to the increasing number of tourists visiting the area.
“A number of people have asked me to bring the issue to the attention of the council. A large number of people are now using this car park and also the above car park, particularly when the weather is good,” said the councillor.
“The railway walk is also being used by a great number of people, both locals and visitors. It’s very important that toilets are put in place here to fulfil the area’s tourism potential and also for our local people who are using the car park,” added Cllr Ó Fearraigh.
