LAST Thursday was a pivotal moment for country music star Nathan Carter as he launched his new clothing range ‘Carter Clothing’.
Born out of a desire to dress well with minimal effort, the singer’s first collection has a classic feel, with hints of retro and nautical nods.
From jeans and jackets to jumpers and tracksuits, his first drop includes wardrobe staples rather than pieces that will date too fast.
At Thursday’s launch in Lough Erne, a line-up of star studded guests gathered in celebration of Nathan’s new venture.
From Garron Noone to Nadia Adan from Ashford Motors, the night was full of fashion, sing songs, good food and even better company.
Speaking to the Donegal News following the launch, Nathan said he is delighted with his first collection.
“It is real top class stuff,” he said.
“I wanted it so, whether you’re a young teenage lad or a man in your 60s, that you’d feel good going out, looking smart.”
His first drop includes a range of jeans, t shirts, shirts, jackets, tracksuits and shackets.
However, it is his colourful range of Aran jumpers that are catching eyes the most.
Manufactured in Donegal, Nathan said they are receiving the most attention so far.
Incorporating Donegal into his new brand was an important move for the country music star having lived in the county for three years.
“My first gig in Ireland was in Donegal,” he said.
“I always had a big love for the county.”
Looking to the future, the singing star is planning on taking it up a notch!
His second launch will include more adventurous pieces.
“We will be doing some limited edition drops,” he teased.
