SIMS, Birdie, (née Doherty) – passed away (peacefully) at home. Pre-deceased by her husband Gerry Sims, sons Kieran, David and Mark, daughter Caroline, grandchildren Gayle O’Donovan and Gerard O’Donovan.

Deeply regretted by her daughters Collette, Jacqueline, Gillian, Yvonne and Fionnuala, sons Gerard, Jim, Enda and Gary, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother’s Jim and Laurence, sister’s Kathleen and Fionnuala, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, other relatives and friends.

Reposing Monday (December 17th) at Cross Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, from 4:30 pm to 6 pm followed by removal to Corpus Christi Church, Moyross. Requiem Mass Tuesday (December 18th) at 10:30 am followed by cremation afterwards at Shannon Crematorium, Shannon, Co. Clare.
