THIS year the North West Simon Community has seen a ten per cent increase in the demand for North its services which provides support to those at risk of homelessness.
Hampers, toys, gifts around Christmas are most graciously accepted by families and individuals they work with throughout Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo. Even to receive a hamper with basic food materials could mean a family has a few more euros to go towards a bill or help make their Christmas that bit more special!

Vouchers for Penny’s, Dunnes, Heatons, Tesco, no matter how small: Bed sets for single and double beds (duvet cover, sheets, pillow cases); Towels – all sizes/ Tea towels; Pyjama sets for children, ladies & gents; Toiletry sets Male & Female (items such as deodorant, soap, shower gel, shampoo, bath oil, moisturiser etc); Bedroom accessory gifts for children both boys and girls: lamps, photo frames, cushions, rugs; Girls hair accessories; Socks: adults and children’s; Selection boxes for children; Tins of biscuits and boxes of sweets; Sets of mugs/ Cutlery sets; Art and craft materials; Children’s DVD’s; Glove, scarf and hat sets for children – children and Adults
Alternatively staff may want to put together a Foodbox.
