SIMMS, William (Willie) – 26th January 2023, peacefully at Longfield Care Home, (formerly of Carnhill, Derry and Buncrana). Devoted and loving husband of Betty; much loved father of Bernard, Tanya and Peter; cherished grandfather of Nicole, Beth, Ryan, Abbi, Ben, Adam, Maggie and Peter; great grandfather of Cian; son of the late Barney and Maggie; dear brother of the late Mary-Ann and Celine.
Willie’s remains are reposing in his daughter’s home, 323 Carnhill. Funeral from there on Sunday at 1.30 pm for 2 pm funeral Mass in St. Brigid’s Church, Carnhill. Interment afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cockhill, Buncrana.
