THE owners of the Silver Tassie hotel in Letterkenny have moved to reassure customers that the hotel is not affected by the placing into receivership of pubs and shops owned by the Blaney group in Letterkenny, Rathmullan, Milford and Kerrykeel.
In a statement Ciaran and Rose Blaney said: “In light of recent events, where businesses belonging to other family members have gone into receivership both myself, Ciaran Blaney, and Rose (sole owners of the Silver Tassie Hotel & Spa) would like to reassure our loyal customers that The Silver Tassie Hotel & Spa continues to go from strength to strength.
“With over 400 weddings/functions booked over the next three years we look forward to continue to provide the service and quality that The Silver Tassie Hotel & Spa is renowned for.
“We would like to sincerely thank our loyal customers for their continued support and look forward to working with you in the future,” the statement concluded.
A receiver was appointed to the Central Bar and Brewery Bar in Letterkenny on Friday along with Blaney’s Mace in Kerrykeel, the Lagg service station in Milford and the Water’s Edge in Rathmullan, which was not trading when the appointment was made.
