ATU Donegal’s gaelic manager Maxi Curran is hoping for a closer game in the Sigerson Cup this Wednesday.
The Donegal side suffered a heavy defeat in the first round to University of Limerick last Wednesday by a score of 3-12 to 0-8 at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence.
But the Limerick side were heavy favourites going into the game and are one of the favourites to win the competition, so it was always going to be a big ask.
“We took learnings from last week. We were up against a serious opponent and that’s how it proved and we feel we should be better for it,” Curran told the Donegal News.
