WITNESSES are sought after the front window of a shop was smashed in Ballybofey.

The incident occurred at a shop at Main Street sometime between 9pm Saturday, September 6 and 12.30pm the following day.

A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have been on the street, particularly in the early hours of Sunday morning and who might have witnessed the incident occur to make contact with Gardaí in Ballyshannon on ( 071) 9858530. If anyone was on the street overnight with a dash-cam and they believe that they may have captured anything of use to our investigation, we ask them to get in touch also.”
