PET OWENERS in Ramelton have been urged to keep their furry friends indoors after a cat was shot with a BB gun last week.
The incident reportedly happened in the Castle Street/ Back Lane area of the town.
Contacting the Animals in Need Charity in Donegal this week, the worried pet owner made the appeal after their cat was shot in the hip with a pellet gun.
“The vet had to surgically remove said pellet, causing much distress and pain to an innocent animal.
“To say we are angry is an understatement, I am reporting this incident to the local ISPCA on advice from the vet,” the cat’s owner concluded.
