Ms McGrory died in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast on Thursday after a very sudden illness.

News of her passing has been met with an outpouring of grief in the general Milford and Buncrana areas.

Just two months ago, she gave birth to her first child, daughter Rosie, and was on maternity leave when she took ill.

Her heartbroken husband, Brendan, is being comforted by family, relatives and friends following her tragic death.

The remains were brought to the home of her loving parents, Hughie and Mae Dick, Cockhill, Buncrana for waking and the huge crowds that attended over the weekend reflected the high esteem in which the family are held.

The funeral will take place at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Cockhill, today with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
