Gerard Patrick Shiels has been appointed as the new manager of the Gaeil Fhánada senior team for 2023.
The former Drumman NS Prinicipal replaces Aidan McAteer who stepped down as bainisteoir at the end of last season.
Shiels, who hails from Kerrykeel, is a long time member of the Gaeil Fhánada club, and has coached and managed numerous underage teams through the years, and has also fulfilled administrative roles within the club.
Fanad will play in Division 2 of the All-County League in 2023, and will also be hoping to perform well in the Intermediate Championship.
