SHIELDS – The death has taken place in Galway University Hospital of Patrick Shields, Lr. Baltoney, Gortahork.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, daughters; Eileen, Sally and Máire, brother Hugh, sons-in-law Frankie and Kevin, grandchildren; Thomas, Emmy, Anton, Frankie Óg, Kitty and Hal and extended family.

Removal took place from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, today, Tuesday at 3 pm to his late residence, arriving at 4.15 pm approx. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11 am in Christ the King Church, Gortahork, with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery. Rosary on Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 8 pm at the Grotto in Baltoney.
Due to HSE and Government guidelines, wake and funeral is private to family and close friends with a limit of fifty people permitted. If you wish to leave your condolences, please use the condolence below.

Paddy was a lovely man so helpful in the hardware store and always had a joke to tell, he will be missed, condolences to his family at this very sad time. May he rest in peace.
