DUNGLOE’S Shaun McShane (1-1-1) makes his return to the ring on November 15 next when he takes on Bulgarian Radoslav Mitev (5-19-1) at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.
In June, McShane drew with John Greene 38-38.
A late starter in the professional ranks, Glasgow-based McShane had a winning debut against Ryan Love in February, but lost out to Marek Laskowski in his next contest.
He has had a break since drawing with Greene and had wanted to be back in action sooner.
“I had a bit of a lay-off as I had to get more surgery on my knee than I had expected – but it’s on the mend now and I’ll be ready by the time the fight comes around,” he told the Donegal News.
“had a good win on my debut and then a narrow points loss. That meant the hype of the big win didn’t go to my head. I’m happy with the record.”
The November 15 show is being sponsored by Advance Construction, McShane’s employers, owned by Seamus Shields who is from Carrigart.
