A NUMBER of vehicles were detected speeding by Buncrana Roads Policing Unit this week.
Some speeds detected include:
– 83KPH in a 60KPH Zone (Burnfoot)
– 110KPH in a 80KPH Zone (Glentogher)
– 111KPH in a 80KPH Zone (Glentogher)
– 114KPH in a 80KPH Zone (Glentogher)
– 119KPH in a 100KPH Zone (Newtowncunningham)

A Garda spokeperson said, “When driving, please slow down, check your speed regularly and always drive safely.
“We wish to thank all those who always drive at a safe speed because in doing so they are helping to save lives.”
