Seven Donegal players make the Team of the Week

Seven Donegal players have made the GAA.ie Football Team of the Week following their comfortable win over Meath at Croke Park on Sunday.

In defence, there is places for Brendan McCole, Finnbarr Roarty and Eoghan Ban Gallagher.

Michael Langan makes the cut in midfield following his impressive performance, kicking four points from play.

Meanwhile, Donegal’s goal scorers on Sunday Ciaran Moore, Conor O’Donnell and Oisin Gallen complete the contingent in the forward line.

Carndonagh native O’Donnell’s fine display at GAA HQ also earned himself a nomination for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week alongside Kerry’s David Clifford and Kildare’s Darragh Kirwan.
