Setanta ready for Ulster challenge

When Donegal SHC champions Setanta lock horns with Eoghan Ruadh of Dungannon, it will be a full 14 weeks since their last competitive match.

And that was when they just edged out Burt in a real county final battle back in July.

This was a must win affair for Gary McGettigan’s men, but they eventually came through.

But the huge gap has not been ideal preparation for Sunday’s Ulster JHC clash in O’Donnell Park at 1.30pm.

“That is a terrible long break.”
