Paul Campbell’s team got off to a glorious start and led by 1-6 to no score after 14 minutes, with Bernard Lafferty scoring the goal.

There only looked like one winner at that stage but a goal from Diarmuid Shiels ignited a Na Magha comeback.

The Derry men only trailed by three points at the break, and while Setanta started the second half well, Alan Grant scored a terrific goal for Na Magha in the 40th minute.

The impressive Declan Coulter hit the net for Setanta to put them back in the driving seat, and while Deaglan Foley scored a late three-pointer from a free for Na Magha, the men from the Cross held on to claim the silverware.
