Setanta aim to confirm Championship top spot

SETANTA can finish top of the Summer Hurling Championship with a win this evening against Buncrana.

The reigning champions have won all four games in the championship so far as they head into the penultimate game.

A win would see them move on to ten points, which is the maximum any other team can pick up, but Setanta have already beaten St Eunan’s and Burt, so they would be guaranteed first on head-to-head.

They travel to Buncrana to take on the Inishowen side and long-time clubman and joint-manager Kevin Campbell is looking to confirm topping the table to avoid St Eunan’s and Burt in the semi-finals.
