Lt Col Brennan delivered a lecture entitled Law in War: Origin and Destination and Capt Casey spoke on Observing Peace Post-Conflict: A Peacekeeper’s Perspective.
These lectures comprise part of the new Introduction to Conflict Studies module on lyit’s Law with Criminal Justice programme.

“Our law students thoroughly enjoyed the stimulating, insightful and thought-provoking lectures delivered by Lt Col Brennan and Capt Casey.
“It’s important to apply theory to practice, and there is no better way to understand and apply conflict theories than to engage with, and learn from, those directly involved in international humanitarian law and peacekeeping.”
