A second male, aged in his 20s, injured in a collision at Quigley’s Point at the weekend, has sadly died this afternoon.
Gardaí continue to investigate the fatal road traffic collision that occurred on the R240 at Cross, Quigley’s Point, on the night of Saturday 24th August, 2024.
Kian Dawson (16), from Derry, was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person, a male (20s) was pronounced deceased this afternoon, gardaí have confirmed.
Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
