By Dionne Meehan

A MASSIVE sea search for missing Ramelton man Paul Buchanan has been stood down for a time due to adverse weather conditions.

Mr Buchanan (50s), who operates an accounting practice in Letterkenny, failed to return after he set off from Machaire Gathlán pier in Gaoth Dobhair at around 5pm on Thursday evening, October 3.

Today would have marked the sixth day of searches in the area.

A garda spokesperson said: “Searches will resume later in the week.”
