Search continues for missing Carrick man

A MAJOR search is continuing in the Carrick area of south west Donegal for a man who has been missing since New Year’s Day.

Gardai have appealed for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of David Maguire (38) from Carrick was last seen at 4.30am.

Mr. Maguire, a father of two, is 5’10, of medium build and when last seen was wearing a green jacket, white hoody and blue jeans.

After a second day the search was called off at around 5pm yesterday. It will resume again at first light this morning.
