Speaking ahead of this year’s selection, 2024 Donegal Rose Niamh Shevlin said: “Being the Donegal Rose was one of the most fun and unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had.

“I felt so proud to represent Donegal, and I made friends in every corner of the world that I know I’ll keep for life.

“There was so much craic along the way, if I could do it again I would!

“I’d say to anyone thinking about applying, just go for it.

“It’s an incredible journey full of pride, friendship, and memories you’ll never forget.”
