THE former Mayor of Donegal County Council, Seamus O’Domhnaill has been eliminated on the seventh count of Glenties Electoral Area.
He secured 1222 final votes, having gained 31 votes in this round. His votes are now being distributed to the remaining candidates.
The quota is 1815. Sinn Fein’s John Sheamuis O’Ferrargh is close with 1782 votes.
