THE Donegal Association in London celebrated its 78th anniversary in style last weekend.
A sold-out dinner dance was held in the Hilton Hotel in Wembley.
The Donegal Association’s (London) person of the year was awarded to Seamus Carr.

Seamus is originally from Carrick and has connections with Naomh Columba.
He has been heavily involved in London GAA for many years and this award recognises the excellent work he has done. Seamus was surrounded by family and friends when receiving this prestigious award.
The night was one to remember with special guest Michael Murphy in attendance.
Music was provided by Amy Gillen from Letterkenny. Guests also enjoyed music from the Jack Keogh band.
